My second meme!
1. Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
Alright, just gonna put this out there right now...I'm a sucker for ANYTHING animated. It's amazing to see how far animation has come in the past several years...and the animation in this movie is absolutely breathtaking. I actually had never heard of the series until this movie came out, and after I saw it in 3D in theaters, I fell in love with the series...and immediately went out and started reading the books. I've come to love this series so much that I've in fact read through all of the books TWICE.
2. The Lion King
No matter how old I get, the opening for this classic Disney masterpiece always makes me tear up. This movie is a relic of my childhood and I still love it to this day.
3. Pokemon The Movie 2000
This was honestly a tough choice...it was between this one and the first movie, but I ultimately had to go with 2000. I have all the Pokemon Movies that have been released in the US so far, but this one is still my all time favorite. And the main theme for this movie, The Legend Comes To Life...such a beautiful piece of music...
4. Brother Bear
I consider this to be my favorite Disney movie. A touching storyline, and a wonderful soundtrack...not to mention the transformation scene is one of the most powerful moments I've ever seen in a movie.
Oh how I love this movie...I got to see this in 3D as well, and I was just amazed by the visuals. There's a definite environmental message in this film, and the romance is still a better love story than Twilight. XP
6. Princess Mononoke
I love all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, but this one is my favorite out of all of them. A wonderful movie, it's definitely one of Miyazaki's more bloody and violent films, but it's still awesome.
I seem to have this thing for animated movies that have birds in them...O_o Oh well, another excellent animated film made by Blue Sky, the same people who made the Ice Age films. There's a lot of music in this movie, and since I'm a singer, I can't help but sing along every time I watch this.
8. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Hard to believe this animated film made by Dreamworks is already a decade old. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes horses. It's a great movie, and the soundtrack is awesome as well.
9. Finding Nemo
I had to include at least one Pixar film on here. And although all of them are amazing...I still love this one the most. I've always loved the ocean and the creatures that live there, and I just love Dory.
10. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Oh God this movie...XD First time I watched this was when me and my older brother were alone in the house...that night was filled with so much laughter. XP This movie is ridiculously funny.
